3D Typography

Dunno what to do with this yet, trying to give the word aura an aura. Watch this space, I'll think of something :)

My favourite graphic designer because he's so amazing with typography and even when he only works with black and white it still looks mint so he's one of my major influences when it comes to typography.

3D typography brief

We got a brief to pick 5 words and of about 20 and had to present them portraying their meaning so I messed about on Photoshop and ended up doing this which I actually like. Reminds me of them posters advertising gigs/festivals influenced from the days with actual good music in england.

Tried to show the word's meaning through the font so obfuscate is hardly readable, enigma has to be looked at harder to figure out what it says, the white marks on dusk reminds me of stars, aura has a rough area around it like an aura and profound is purposefully juxtaposed in contrast with everything else. 

I changed the colour of it a few times and it looks pretty cool with the background in red and in yellow. 

I really really really wanna try this light graffiti thing.
